Deseta davis, secretary

Pastor Deseta became a Christian at the age of 13 and has served in the Church of God of Prophecy for many years.  She has been active in a variety of ministries and is currently an Associate pastor at the church. 

She presently serves as a prison Managing Chaplain at HMP Hewell UK, a role which she has undertaken since 2016.  She is also a Director of the Free Churches Group UK and a member of the Prison Chaplaincy steering group.

She has much experience in Church and Business administration and has spent many years as a lecturer in Business and IT at colleges in the UK.

Deseta is passionate about Missions and has travelled with Missions teams to various countries including Germany, Russia, Ghana, Barbados, St Lucia, Guyana and has led teams to Macedonia from her local church.

On completion of her MA in Applied Theology, She has lectured and supported students on BA and Masters programmes at Queen’s Theological College UK.

Deseta is married to Charles and has two children and three grandchildren.

She deems it an honour to be a Committee member of the International Prison Chaplaincy Association (IPCA) Europe and has taken on the secretarial/clerical duties of the position.  Her aim is to work with the other members of the team to publicise IPCA and help to make it more well known throughout Europe.
